Founded by a carpenter and a designer who got tired of furniture that falls apart within a year.

Our Story

Started in a garage.
Built on craftsmanship.

Oakhaven was born in 2018 when our founder, Omar Al-Kuwari, watched a beautiful walnut dining table he'd bought new start to wobble and split within eighteen months. Frustrated by an industry built on particleboard and glue, he picked up a set of hand tools and built a replacement himself — solid, simple, and made to last.

What began as furniture built for friends and neighbours quickly grew into a small workshop, then a proper studio. Today, Oakhaven furnishes homes across Qatar and the Gulf, and every piece still starts with the same question: "Would this still be standing in twenty years?"

We're part of a community of homeowners who believe furniture should be an investment, not a disposable purchase — and that solid wood shouldn't cost a fortune.
